A city located in Belarus. Stolin is located approximately
60 miles ENE of the Ukrainian city of Sarny. Stolin was a major Jewish center before WWII. A major north-south road (P-102)
runs from Rivne to Sarny, through Berezhnitza, and up to Stolin and beyond.
Stolin was located in the Polish province (gubernia) of Polesie before WWII.
The last census of Jews living in Stolin as of 1921 counted a population of
2,966 Jews
